Mother’s Day Market May 13 

The Unitarian Church at 223 Stewart Avenue in Garden City will be holding its annual Mother’s Day Market on Saturday, May 13, from 10 AM to 4 PM. There will be floral baskets, jewelry, pottery, other gift items, and Anna Lea Smith’s baked goods, including apple pies, blueberry-mango pies, tea breads, and cakes.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Central Nassau, at 223 Stewart Ave., Garden City, will once again host its “Pumpkin Patch” autumn festival. The annual event—with thousands of pumpkins, fall decorations, and delicious home-baked treats for sale—will be open daily through October 31 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays).
