Students Helping Students, is a select leadership program consisting of students in grades 10 through 12 at the Garden City High School, who work to spread tolerance among the student bodies in all the Garden City Schools. We try to help kids recognize the many forms of harassment and to teach stu-dents how to be compassionate and understanding with one another. Over 70 members have been involved in raising money for our Katrina Relief trip to New Orleans over the February break when 30 students will work alongside Habitat For Humanity in rebuilding homes.

We want to thank the Garden City and surrounding communities for their generosity in purchasing the “treasures” made available at our garage sales this Fall. Community support in the form of financial contributions as well as verbal recognition encourages us in our efforts and helps make our endeavors fruitful. 1: Catching the attention of potential customers!
