“Stress & Anxiety “How to Cope”



Winthrop-University Hospital’s Inspiring Women series will offer a free seminar for the community, “Stress & Anxiety – How to Cope,” on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 7 PM. The program will be held at the Mineola Community Center, located at 155 Washington Avenue in Mineola (one block south of Jericho Turnpike, between Mineola Boulevard and Willis Avenue).

Michael Genovese, MD, Attending Psychiatrist at Winthrop-University Hospital, will discuss common causes of stress and anxiety, as well as healthy ways of coping. Attendees will also learn about the growing problem of prescription drug dependence, who is at risk, and how to get help if needed. A question and answer period will follow the program.

Parking is adjacent to the building. Additional parking is available across the street in a metered lot. Admission is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required. To reserve a seat, please call (516) 663-3916.
