Stewart School Gets Squeaky Clean

The Queens, NY based rock and roll band Squeaky Clean, performed a “kick off to summer” concert for the second and third grade classes of Stewart School. Students were out of their seats dancing and clapping their hands to rock and roll favorites such as Rock Around the Clock, Lollipop Lollipop, Candy Girl, Hand Jive, Rock-in Robin and many more. The sun was shining. The children were laughing and singing. It felt like summer time.

This program was coordinated by the Arts in Education Committee of the Garden City PTA and GCUFSD Administration and funded by the Garden City Union Free School District.
