St. Anne’s students march in St. Patrick’s Day Parade

And they’re off!

And they’re off!

On Sunday, March 3rd, organized by parent Tara Freel, a Saint Anne’s School tradition continued as students, parents and the Saint Anne’s School band marched in the Mineola St. Patrick’s Day parade. Eighth grade students were the honorary color guard. Marching in their final parade with Saint Anne’s School, they led the school community down Mineola Blvd while the band played Notre Dame’s fight song! At the conclusion of the parade everyone gathered back at school to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a wee bit early. Irish music, step dancers, beautiful raffles, authentic Irish food and fun with friends and family were on tap for a wonderful afternoon. Janice Hyland, Christine Tallon and a countless number of volunteers made the celebration a memorable event for all who attended.

Each year this much anticipated Saint Anne’s School tradition continues to delight all who attend.
