Restaurant Week, Seventh St. Fair Update

Russell Ciolli (Grimaldi’s Pizzeria), who is spearheading Garden City’s first Restaurant week, Monday July 20 through Thursday, July 23 reports that there are now 19 Garden City restaurants offering 3-course Price Fix meals during Restaurant week. At press time they include: Calagero’s, Garden City Hotel’s Rein, Fianei’s Paninoteca, Grimaldi’s, Jin East, La Nonna Bella, Leo’s, Lord & Taylor’s Signature Cafe, Mumon, New York Soup Exchange, Novita, Ruth’s Steak House, Seventh Street Cafe, Suchi Ya, Upper Crust Cafe, Uptown Grille, Walk Street and Waterzooi. .

Chamber organizers report that activities added to the Restaurant Fair on Friday evening, July 24 (rain date, July 25) include the Fivestone Band performing classic contemporary rock from 8 to 10 p.m.; plus Coke’s ” Polar Bear Bouncer” through the courtesy of the New York Racing Association (NYRA), contributing sponsor.
