Long Island -A-Team Baseball spring clinic

The Long Island -A-Team Baseball Spring Clinic 2014 will be held at Tully Park (Evergreen Ave. New Hyde Park) beginning Monday, April 21st from 5:15-6:45pm and Saturday, April 26th 7:00-8:30pm.

Monday clinics will be held at Field 1 and will be primarily for kids 8 and under.

Saturday clinics will be held at Field 2 and will be primarily for kids 9 and up.

Having the clinic twice a week will allow you to make up a missed clinic if necessary. We will still have the same winter clinic instructors and concept and will be incorporating scrimmage games against neighboring towns.

Also an exciting announcement- Ray Negron (New York Yankee Advisor and Best Selling Author) Co-founder of Hank’s Yanks travel program will be selecting players from the Long Island- A-Team clinic to form 8,9,10 and 11u teams to play for Hank’s Yanks Long Island beginning late spring/early summer. Hank’s Yanks is a youth travel baseball program formed by Hank Steinbrenner and Ray Negron. Ray is the driving force behind the A-Team clinic and wants to encourage the importance of education along with the sport he loves. Ray wants to incorporate reading books and doing exceptionally good in school by rewarding prizes and other cool stuff. During this past winter clinic some of the prizes included his award winning books, baseball equipment from Spalding and replica World Series rings. This Spring the kids will receive an A-Team duffle bag, hat, shirt and warm up jacket.
