Just Keep Spending

To The Editor:

Our children are very fortunate in being instructed by a dedicated group of educators under the direction of the brilliant Mr. Feirsen.

I presume that our citizens appreciate the glory of our teachers.

I certainly am aware and speechless concerning the job that’s being done by the tenured teachers, the untenured teachers, the administrators, assistants and various esconced citizens, all drinking from the “horn of plenty.”

A year – round deluge of positive press keeps everyone informed and happy about every facet of the education system.

The selflessness, devotion, creativity, and cultural exploits of the instructors, keep the people contented, malleable, and thus willing to allocate more and more money to them.

Our education system is worth a million “bucks – in fact it’s worth quite a few millions – in fact the cost is unreal. So what!

Our children are accomplishing????

The exorbitant fees that we pay to our workers in education are really inconsequential.

Did anyone notice the recent news concerning the fiftythree

Long Island students who were semi-finalists in the Intel Science Talent Search?

I’m reluctant to relate that there were no students from the “light-house” Garden City System. Impossible!

Perhaps bonds should be issued to finance the Coinstruction of a science center?

This might have a positive effect on the obviously deficient science curriculum.

Anyway, let’s continue funding the education behemoth.

Just keep spending, and spending, and spending… and nauseam.
