Exclusive new spa comes to the Garden City Hotel

A new full-service day spa was recently introduced at the Garden City Hotel last month. The Red Hots Spa opened their doors to clientele on December 1st, offering up a multitude of services which include various facial treatments and waxing, and body treatments such as massage, body scrubs and waxing and custom airbrush tanning. The Red Hots Spa was founded in 2002 by co-owners Elaine Bezold and Josephine Noto.

“We started our original location in Roslyn in 2002 with the concept of offering client’s relaxation and exceptional results,” said Bezold. “I think what makes us unique is not that we just offer a luxurious or sophisticated spa experience, but we specialize in results driven services that leave our clients feeling renewed and reinvigorated.”

Bezold, who has a background in Cosmetic Product Development and corporate training experience in Cosmetic Skincare, teamed up with her friend, Josephine, to establish a spa location for well-to-do clientele. 

“Josephine and I are childhood friends, and putting together a business like this is something that we had discussed for quite a while,” said Bezold. “I brought my product development and corporate training experience to the table and she worked on the business aspect side.”

The two women have run a successful venture in Roslyn for over 19 years and wanted to branch out to reach a broader market.

“We know the experience that our consumer is used to at our Roslyn location, and we wanted to bring that same experience and appeal to consumers at the Hotel and in the Village of Garden City.”

The new location takes over the former Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, which was a fixture at the Hotel for many years.

The Red Hots Spa features two suites and six different rooms for a variety of services which include beauty, skincare and overall wellness therapies and treatments. Some of the services on the menu include facials and massage therapy, body scrubs and waxes, body wraps, slimming contour wraps , full body airbrush tanning and lash tints. There is also an inhouse hair lounge and makeup application counter for guests of the Hotel as well as residents.
