The updated and reorganized clothing storage space at the teen shelter.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my Eagle Scout project. Your generous contribution allowed us to provide more storage and organization in the dedicated clothing storage space of a teen shelter run by Family and Children’s Association (FCA), a Garden City organization. Due to the overwhelming amount of donations during Covid, the teen shelter was unable to keep the donations area organized. A hanging rack was made and the clothes are now organized by size, type, and gender. This will benefit new residents to be able to quickly find what they need.
This project would not have been possible without the generosity of the Garden City community and the many volunteers. Thank you to Costa Zografos, Dean Polizotto, Luke Cruz, James Egan, Fin Galligan, George Bennett, Amir Ajenishe, Lucas Argenziano, Ava Sethi, Sofia Ammirati, John Sievers, Marjorie Egan, Mike Egan, Luke Mierzejewski and my parents for their hours of help. I would like to also thank Paul Debany at Cambridge Associates for his time and construction expertise on this project.
