Are you looking for a local camp for your 3, 4, or 5 year old to have lots of outdoor and indoor fun this summer? Look no further than the Garden City Nursery School.

GCNS runs a three hour camp 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for seven weeks, starting the week of June 16th and ending on Friday, August 1st. It is open to all children enteringa3yearoldprogram through kindergarten in the most convenient location in town – just down the hill from the Garden City Pool!

The camp day begins with outdoor play, as children are encouraged to come in their bathing suits. They will explore water tables and sandboxes, sprinklers, bubbles and chalk in our outdoor learning laboratory. Then the children will come indoors for exploration at the tables, music class, special summer art projects exploring varied summer themes each week and more. There is no better way to spend the summer!

GCNS summer camp is open to members and non-members of the community. No parent participation is required and snacks are provided daily. Flexible schedules are offered, with the option of signing up for additional days. Get your registrations in as school as possible as certain weeks are quickly filling up. Applications are available in the lobby of the Garden City Nursery School located at 50 Cherry Valley Avenue, or at www.gcns.org.

Since 1951, the Garden City Nursery School has enabled thousands of young children and their children to participate in high-quality, early childhood activities, while simultaneously providing families with tips and first hand experiences to promote children’s development.
