The Garden City Community Church (GCCC) Annual Candlelight Vespers Service will take place on Sunday, December 11th at 4:30 p.m.
The Christmas Candlelight service is a time for GCCC members and friends to gather and celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ. It will feature seven lessons arranged for choirs by John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, Malcom Archer, and Carson Cooman, as well as a traditional Ukrainian Christmas carol. There will be opportunities for the congregation to join in the singing of familiar Christmas carols.
The music will be presented by the GCCC Adult and Handbell Choirs under the direction of Mr. Frank L. Crosio, GCCC Minister of Music. Frank joined the staff of GCCC as Minister of Music in September of 2011. He previously held similar positions at the Church of St. Patrick in Huntington, and St. Ignatius Loyola in Hicksville.
