Garden City Alumni Return For Panel Discussion
GCHS Class of 2011 hold panel discussion with the senior class about transitioning to college life. On January 4th, thirteen members of Garden City High School's Class of 2011 returned to the school for a panel discussion with the senior class. Led by members of the Guidance Department, the alumni spoke to the students about the transition to college life including the variety of class sizes, making new friends, the challenges of living with roommates, and managing time and finances while away from home.
The seniors also had the opportunity to pose questions to the alums about specific topics including the curricula of higher learning, managing course work, Greek life (sororities/fraternities), adjusting to suite living, and college food.
