Cathedral Youth On Retreat
The girls get ready to hunker down for the cold winter night. Service, fellowship and prayer were just the tip of the iceberg as the younger members of the Cathedral of the Incarnation's Journey to Adulthood (J2A) Program traveled to Camp DeWolfe in Wading River on retreat. The bone-chilling cold was no match for the intrepid youth and their mentors. Each year the underclassmen of the program (grades 7-9) go to the camp with the goal of strengthening their ties to each other and God. Exercising the mind and the body, the students took a closer look at what it means to believe. The camaraderie was good, the conversations - great! For further information about the Cathedral's Youth Formation Programs, visit the website at www.incarnationgc.org or call the church office at 746-2955 and ask to speak to Ms. Kristin Ochtera, Director of Christian Formation.
Members of the group gather for fellowship at Benson House on the Camp DeWolfe property.
Service was also part of the retreat so the J2A helped clear the fallen leaves off the property of the camp
