GCAA Granville 6th Grade Boys Div I improved their record to 7-2 by beating Great Neck Adidas 47-27 and Jericho Kaible 44-41 in Island Garden Super League action to start 2012. The team was led by the lightning speed of Chris Jordan, the tenacious defense of Liam Muldoon, the shooting of Nolan Pappas, the inside force of Andrew DeSantis, and the shot blocking of Ian Gallagher. The team is now gearing up for a very competitive 2nd half schedule which calls for the squad to play a number of older 7th grade teams.

GCAA Deluca 3rd Grade Boys improved their record to 10-1 as they captured impressive wins vs HHH FURY and THE RENS. The keys to their success have been pressure defense by Tom Boland, Tom Molgano, and Brendon Mc- Govern. They have been relying on tremendous rebounding efforts from Chris Honan, Kurt Dengler, and Liam Westfield. Offensively it’s been a team effort with Matt Jordan, Mike DeLuca, Thomas Franz, and Philip Landoli providing much of the spark. The team hopes to continue their success as they roll into a difficult part of their schedule.
