Protects Property Values
To the Editor:
Nicholas Episcopia is the one candidate who was chosen after careful consideration by the East's nominating committee. Nick has been a very positive and responsible Trustee since 2005. He has faced many, many difficult issues as one voting Trustee of eight. Each issue has always been looked at and studied with regard, concern and respect for all GC residents. He has heard the cry of controlling development all around the village and has been very much in the forefront in protecting GC's property values and the quality of life issues so important to all of us. He has worked with our trustees and auxiliary committees in controlling village budget costs and thus keeping our village taxes below the CPI. Most importantly, Nick is always looking out for the benefit of all our residents for those reasons which were important to us when we chose to live in Garden City, for those benefits which we are still enjoying today and for carefully and prudently watching so that in the future, Garden City will still be a desirable community in which we can afford to live. I cannot say the same about his opponent while he was a trustee on the Village Board
Please remember to vote on January 31st at the Stewart School from 4:30 to 9:00 pm and be certain to vote for Nicholas Episcopia.
