Experienced In Finance

To the Editor:

For the last several years, many of us who are active in the Estates POA have encouraged Michele Harrington to run for Trustee and that day has finally come! Michele is a smart, honest, hard working individual who grew up in our Village and has spent her entire career working in the financial industry. That experience would serve her well and benefit all of us if she were elected Trustee in this difficult economic environment. Public service runs in Michele’s family; her mother was a Central POA President many years ago and has always been active in community affairs. We need someone like Michele, who can work with others to (strengthen our Village and maintain our quality of life) move this village forward.

As a regular attendee at Board of Trustee meetings, Michele sees the need for change. Frequent power struggles within the Board of Trustees have interfered with decision-making and governance. There are a myriad of issues our Villages faces, including financial management, municipal borrowing, contracts, pension funds and infrastructure. Michele is well equipped to make decisions in these areas as a result of her financial background. She is also able and willing to devote the time required of a Board of Trustee member.

I urge everyone who is an Estates resident to support Michele! It is time for a change! Please vote for Michele Harrington on Tuesday, January 31st from 4:30-9pm at Stratford School. (Please bring photo ID)
