Mercy Medical Center is offering a unique opportunity for mature adults who have a passion for helping others to volunteer the gift of their time as a Patient Navigator for individuals undergoing treatment for cancer.

Participants in this newlyestablished program will assist cancer patients in finding their way through the complexities of arranging the treatments they require and obtaining the broad array of support services that are available to them.

No prior experience is required. Participants will receive necessary training but must commit to volunteering a minimum of four hours per week. The first training session will be conducted on Monday, Feb 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
