HOLA kicked-off the year with its annual backpack drive to support the Race Track Chaplaincy of America New York Division (RTCA), an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the families in the horse racing industry.

Barbara Ramirez collected the generous donations and along with HOLA kids stuffed each backpack with all the needed supplies to start the school year right! The backpacks for children in grades K- 6 were distributed on Sept. 3rd at their annual Back2School event, with more HOLA youth there to help out.

The RTCA New York Division is located at the Belmont Race Track. RTCA is in constant need of food, clothing, furniture, baby items and school supplies throughout the year.
