The Garden City Retired Men’s Club is a non-profit membership organization formed in April 1961 for the purpose of providing educational and recreational activities for the retired male senior citizens of the Garden City Community. The organization is non-sectarian and non-political.

All retired men 55 years or older residing in the Incorporated Village of Garden City, in the state of New York are eligible for membership upon paying a five (5) dollar initiation fee. If you are eligible and interested in joining us, please stop in. Every Monday is Open House. Or call George Salem at 248-4553.

The Club House facility is located at No. 6 Golf Club Lane (directly behind Lord & Taylor parking lot). The building is open every day of the week, except Friday, and offers two regulation size pool tables, television, and cards/table board games, as well as outdoor bocce, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Our Program Committee is planning a very active speaker program. You are invited to join us!

Bob McMillan will revisit the Golf Club Lane Center to enlighten us on the Immigration Policy the United States has adopted to deal with this complicated issue. Immigration is a subject that may appear to have a simple solution, yet the ramifications tied to even the simplest solution will create controversial opinions. It is a subject that affects us all socially and financially. Come, lend an ear and voice an opinion. 1:00 p.m. Ladies are invited to attend. ATTENTION ALL POKER PLAYERS
