Chamber’s 55th Vintage Car Parade The Best Ever!
Jim Rheel, master of ceremonies and the Banjo Rascals perform toe-tappin’ tunes on Seventh street during the parade It was a grand and glorious Easter Sunday as Mother Nature once again smiled upon the Chamber’s 56th annual Vintage Car Parade and Show. Hundreds of vintage and classic specimens rolled down Franklin Avenue and up Seventh Street in all their spectacular glory! Ackonwledged as “Long Island’s king of car parades,” the event was opening day for car enthusiasts throughout Long Island, the metropolitan area and beyond. Thanks to a legion of Chamber, Adelphi Circle K Club, members, assistance from the Police, Special Police, Public Works and Parks Departments, sunshine and soaring temperatures, the day was labeled one of the best car parades ever!
