Kristen Ochtera, the new Coordinator for Christian Education at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. The Very Rev. Theodore Bean, Dean of the Cathedral of the Incarnation, has announced the appointment of Ms. Kristin Ochtera as Coordinator for Christian Formation, Education and Youth Ministry at the Cathedral of the Incarnation effective September 1. Since 2008 Ms. Ochtera has served as Director of Christian Education at the Church of the Ascension in Rockville Centre.  A professional educator, she holds the Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Hofstra University.  Her teaching experience includes the areas of early childhood development, day care, and educational courses for the American Red Cross.    She has been a mentor in the J2A/Rite 13 program and will serve as the coordinator of the Tuesday evening scripture classes for adults.
