The Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, has announced it will conduct a brief service to remember the victims of the 9/11 attacks.

The DAR Service will take place promptly at 12:30pm on September 11th, at the Garden City 9/11 Memorial, a black granite monument which is located at the intersection of Hilton Avenue and Stewart Avenue, near the gazebo.

Close to two dozen Garden City residents were killed in the 9/11 attacks.
