The Friendship Luncheon Committee for the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead met during the summer to finalize everything for the event on Tuesday, September 21 st , at 12 Noon at the Cherry Valley Club.

This Luncheon, an annual event, marks the start of the 91 st year for the Community Club. Ruth Lacy is handling Reservations, Gerry McHugh will be working on photos of the event, and Muriel Urban is handling the publicity.

The luncheon is $49 per person and includes an Appetizer, your choice of either macadamia nut and onion crusted salmon or herb roasted slice of prime sirloin as well as dessert and your choice of either a glass of wine or a mixed drink.

Ruth Lacy will be accepting Reservations at 110 Stratford Avenue, Garden City, N.Y. 11530. Make your check payable to The Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead and be sure to include your choice of entree and your phone number. The deadline for Reservations is September 14 th so do be prompt. Guests are also welcome so have them include their phone number and choice of Entree on their check. Tables will be for eight.
