Serving Spirits At Spirit Day
On Saturday, September 18th, the area at New Hyde Park Road and Dartmouth Street will be transformed into the annual playground known as Spirit Day. Rides, attractions, vendor’s, music and food, all add up to a memorable day. At 5PM an outdoor Mass will bring us all together, in Faith. The evening will culminate with the drawing of the Big Bucks Raffle winners.
In the midst of it all, the Msgr. John’s Knights will play a very important role. They have the responsibility of manning the beverage truck. Given the weather of late, theirs will be a very popular location. A cold draft or a crisp glass of wine will undoubtedly keep us all refreshed throughout the day.
So how do you get into the spirit? Plan on spending some time at Spirit Day, where fun food and laugher will all be in store.
