The Recreation Dept. has openings in some of the women’s tennis leagues that begin play in September for the indoor season. (25 weeks)

2.0 level players are needed for: 11- 12 noon Instructional Learn and Play League

2.5 level players are needed for: Tuesday 11:30-1pm doubles league/Wednesday 11am “Coached Play” singles league.

3.0 - 3.5 players are needed for: Friday 12 - 1pm Singles League

3.5 to 4.0 players are needed for: Friday 1- 2pm Singles League

Miniature Golf News

The Garden City Pool Mini Golf Championship Tournament is being held on Friday, August 13 from 2pm to 8pm. The fee is $6. per person and includes 2 rounds of Golf.

All members and their guests are invited to join. Sign ups begin on Monday August 2nd. All golfers will play the course two times with each hole assigned a degree of difficulty. Plus some secret holes will be selected for bonus points. Best score of the day will receive a prize and a trophy proclaiming him/her as the 2010 pool champion.

“Glow in the Dark” mini golf night - Saturday, August 7th at 8pm

Come play in the dark, well almost dark. On Saturday, August 7th the miniature golf course will be on the “darkside” with glow in the dark holes and assorted glow necklaces for the participants. The fee is $4. per person and includes a night of Miniature golf, music, and glow necklaces.
