Scott G. Stein of Brixton Road in Garden City has reserved a place as a freshman at SUNY Oswego. Fall classes will begin Aug. 30. He is a graduate of Garden City High School.

Garrett Meyer of Garden City earned Dean’s List honors at Saint Joseph’s University’s Erivan K. Haub School of Business for the Spring 2010 semester. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn Dean’s List status for a semester.

Natalie Sona Tingir of Garden City, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2010 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Tingir is a graduate of Garden City Senior High School in Garden City, and is enrolled in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences.

To qualify for the Dean’s List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.
