Receives Girl Scouting’s Highest Honor


Hempstead Town Clerk Mark A. Bonilla (center) presents an official Town of Hempstead Certificate of Recognition to Meghan Murphy of Garden City, who recently attained the Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouting, at the Garden City Girl Scout Awards Ceremony held at the Garden City Middle School.  The Gold Award is earned over a three-year period and requires over 100 hours of community service.
