Resident Speaks At The Woodstock Museum Local resident Lana Noone recently spoke at the Bethel Woods Arts Center, the Woodstock Museum that is on-site at the famous Woodstock Festival of 1969. Mrs. Noone spoke about her participation in the Vietnam “Operation Babylift” (OBL) of 1975, in conjunction with the Museum’s Vietnam War 35th Anniversary Series. In addition to her talk, she also performed several flute solos (Lana Noone is a classical musician) and exhibited art and artifacts related to OBL. Mrs. Noone’s book “Global Mom: Notes From a Pioneer Adoptive Family” has received excellent reviews in Newsday, Korean Quarterly and the Catholic Press and her website at www.Vietnam babylift.org has received several Awards, as has Mrs. Noone for her humanitarian work.
