Dante Foundation Award Presented


The Dante Foundation Scholarship is awarded to a Nassau County graduating high school senior of Italian-American descent who has excelled in the fields of academics and leadership. The scholarship award in the amount of $5,000.00 was presented to Michael J. Abatemarco of Garden City HS at the Annual Dante Award ceremony at the Fox Hollow Restaurant on June 30, 2010. Michael was the Valedictorian of the Garden City High School Class of 2010 and will attend Harvard University in the fall.
