      A free Tai Chi workshop for breast cancer patients will be offered on Thursday, August 5 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Alumni House at Adelphi University.

Splish Splash Trip
      On Friday, August 6th the Garden City Recreation Department is again sponsoring a trip to Splish Splash Water Park, located in Riverhead, for all students in grades 6-10 who are residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City. Buses will depart from the parking lot at St. Paul’s School at 9 a.m. and will return there at approximately 5 p.m.

The Nassau County charter required that the project, when it was to be condominiums, be treated as a housing subdivision.
