The Garden City Retired Men’s Club is a non-profit membership oganization formed in April 1961 for the purpose of providing educational and recreational activities for the retired male senior citizens of the Garden City Community. The organization is non-sectarian and non-political.

All retired men 55 years or older residing in the Incorporated Village of Garden City, in the state of New York are eligible for membership upon paying a five (5) dollar initiation fee. If you are eligible and interested in joining us, please come by. Every Monday is Open House. Or call Joe Leto at 248-9022.

The Club House facility is located at No. 6 Golf Club Lane (directly behind Lord & Taylor parking lot). The building is open every day of the week, except Friday, and offers two regulation size pool tables, television, cards/table board games as well as outdoor bocce, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Our Program Committee is planning a very active speaker program. You are invited to join us!

Bruce Littlejohn, with lots of help from Janet, has started to put the finishing touches to our gala social event of the year. They’re planning the set-up and the seating arrangements. Everything is coming together beautifully. However, we need a little help from you. We’re waiting for your reservation. Garden City Retired Men’s Club members send in your reservations and table requests to Dr. George Rivara, 14 First Street, Garden City, NY. The price is $30.00pp ($60.00 per couple). And of course your guests are welcome. Sunday July 25 th is the date, 1:00 p.m. is the time. Prepare yourself for a pleasantly sociable afternoon.
