Movie of the Week

Join us this Tuesday, July 20th, as we show “Imagine That,” staring Eddie Murphy. The movie will start at 8:30 p.m. and the admission is $2 for members and $4 for guests. In case of inclement weather, please check our web site or call the Garden City Pool Office at (516) 483-1714 for further information. The rain date is Wednesday, July 21st. No refunds will be given, so please save your ticket stubs for the rain date.

Early Bird Swim Club

There is still time to sign up for our Early Bird Swim Club! Pool members can sign up for this club at the Pool Office for an additional fee of $60.00. Once a member, you can swim laps in Pool 2 from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. GUESTS ARE NOT PERMITTED DURING EARLY BIRD HOURS.

Friday Family Night

Don’t miss this week’s Friday Family Night, Friday, July 16th. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. with the pool side music of the Boston Burglars. Members and guests can also purchase appetizer platters specials at the Snack Bar.

In addition, please mark your calendars for next weeks Friday Family Night, Friday July 23rd. Members can enjoy the Magic of John Reid and also pool side music by DJ Bob.

Senior Citizens Day

Senior Citizens Day returns this year on Monday, July 19th. The pool will open 10:00 a.m. for senior members and 12:00 p.m. for senior resident non-members. All regular guest fees apply that day. Seniors can enjoy the music by the Paul Cuneo Quartet and the Snack bar will have 1/2 price on selected items at 11:00 a.m. In addition, mark your calendars for our next Senior Citizens Day on Monday, August 9th.

Adult Water Aerobics

Once again our Water Aerobics class is being offered by Mary, our aerobics instructor. Classes will be offered for adults every Tuesday through Thursday in Pool 2. Join us for our 1:50 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. class. Advance sign up is not necessary for this class.

Teens and Tots

Story Hour

Run by the Garden City Library, children can enjoy their favorite stories read by volunteer Garden City teens! Join us Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the Picnic Area.

Arts and Crafts

Our Arts and Crafts program with Jackie and Clare returns once again this summer. This popular activity will be offered every Wednesday & Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Game Room Arts and Crafts program is available for members ages 4-8 only.
