Father Pae and Deacon Lorenz are given purses from the congregation by Dean Theodore Bean
Father Pae and Deacon Lorenz are given purses from the congregation by Dean Theodore Bean On Sunday, June 27, the Cathedral of the Incarnation bid farewell at the 10 o’clock Mass to two members of its clergy, Father Joseph Pae and Deacon Connie Lorenz. On July 1 Father Pae assumed his new duties as a Missioner for the Great Neck Community Episcopal Churches. This is a newly created position for which Father Pae is well prepared after almost six years of service as Canon Pastor of the Cathedral. Deacon Connie has accepted a position as Deacon Coordinator with Father Pae in the newly planned regional ministry for Great Neck. She will leave at the end of July for vacation and begin her new duties September 1. The congregation wished them Godspeed in their new ministries and presented them with purses in gratitude for their ministries at the Cathedral.
