Confirmands On Sunday May 2, the Garden City Community Church confirmed twelve students. The students received into full membership at the church were Daniel Bonchonsky, Charlotte Castronovo, Nicholas Diglio, Ethan Gustavson, Morgen Kerian, Tiffany Liang, David McDonald, Elizabeth Pititto, Alex Schroeder, Samantha Short, Samantha Tiger and P.J. Volz.

The students conducted the service, attended by family, friends and members. At the Garden City Community Church, Confirmation is a rite of passage. It is a 2 year comprehensive program in which students learn what it means to become a member of the church, and to be involved in the church community. It grows out of and is rooted in the faithful practices of the church and its people and at its culmination welcomes confirmands into full membership in the church. Celebration with the community followed in Gardner Hall. The students were supported throughout the Confirmation process by leaders Paul Cohn, Cheri Kroon, Christina Milone, and Beth Simonson. Clergy assisting were Rev. James Adelmann, Rev. Lynn Sullivan and Rev. Jane Huber.
