My Best Friend Committee On the first of May, over 300 friends gathered in joyful celebration at the Cinco de Mayo FiestA for FA. The party was graciously hosted by Steven and Toni Bardong in their colorful garden. The My Best Friend Committee out-did themselves in creating a magical setting for guests, who mingled, sampled BFF cocktails and Patrón margaritas, and dined on passed hors d’oeuvres and Latin-inspired culinary samplings. Live flamenco guitar was mixed with the sounds of laughter, creating a night to remember. Prizes were won and the gift of friendship celebrated. More than $150,000 was raised for the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, enabling research and changing the lives of people who have, or love someone with, Fanconi Anemia.
