Enjoying cotton candy at last year’s fair On Memorial Day, Monday, May 31 the 57th Annual Memorial Day and Craft Fest will be held on the grounds of the Cathedral of the Incarnation following the Memorial Day Parade and services from 12 noon to 4 p.m. There will be rides, ponies, a petting zoo, games, and prizes for the kids and a large variety of craft vendors offering their creations for the adults. Of course, refreshments will be available too. Free patriotic concerts and a sing-a long will be offered at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. by the Cathedral’s organists Larry Tremsky and Alistair Nelson. The church’s magnificent pipe organ will be featured. A free tour of the historic church building will be available at 2 p.m. led by the Cathedral’s Dean Theodore Bean. Come and enjoy a traditional Memorial Day family event. The fair grounds are located at 50 Cathedral Avenue, Garden City.
