The St Anne’s 6th grade boys CYO basketball team just completed a very successful season. The boys finished undefeated in the regular season of the very competitive B Division. The team then went on to defeat a tough St Aloysious team in the first round of the playoffs but then lost to St Elizabeth’s in the quarterfinals. The boys battled the opponent valiantly in the final game and staged a strong comeback but in the end ran out of time. The team consisted of Ian Driscoll, Brian Leggett, Joe Leighton, Jack McGovern, Bobby McLaughlin, Joe Pizzingrillo, Nolan Prendergast, Owen Prendergast, Jack Riceman, John Simmons and Andrew Wood. Congrats to the boys and their families on a fine showing this season.
