Students To Exhibit In Exhibition
This year’s Art Supervisors Association (ASA) will include 32 Garden City Public Schools students representing art works from K - 12th grade. This exhibition honors students who have demonstrated excellence in a wide variety of two-dimensional visual art forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics, and photography. All of the exemplary pieces were produced in alignment with the New York State Standards for Visual Arts. For the fourth year in a row, ASA is offering scholarship awards to select senior students. The announcement of the scholarship awards is scheduled for 11 a.m., prior to the opening of the exhibit.
The exhibition is open to the public and will take place on Sunday, March 21st, 12 - 4 p.m. at the Ruth Harley University Center, Adelphi University, Garden City.
