GC Women To Compete In Ballroom Dancing Showcase

L-R Sharon McEvoy, Dorie Mehling, and Christine Egan-Philippides will dance for charity Three Garden City women are raising funds and awareness for the Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN) through a benefit event modeled after the ever-popular “Dancing with the Stars.”

Christine Egan-Philippides, Sharon McEvoy and Dorie Mehling have been training and choreographing with professionals from Starlight Dance Studio in New Hyde Park and will compete against 9 other couples in an elimination format. The dances featured will be the Fox Trot and Cha-Cha combinations. The event will take place at 5pm on April 11th at the Chateau Briand in Westbury. The event includes a wonderful dinner, drinks and an exciting dancing competition.
