See this photo at www.Newsphoto.com After a great regular season run, the No. 2 Garden City Trojans girl’s basketball team ended their season with a 50-29 playoff loss to the No. 3 Lynbrook Owls last Tuesday night at Freeport High School. Barbara Sullivan led the scoring for GC with 13 points, followed by Diana Leondis’ 12 points. Katie Trimmer and Christina Mangels each scored two points. The Trojans finish the season with an overall record of 16-4.

This season’s GC roster included: Diana Leondis, Barbara Sullivan, Kim Ryan, Amalia DeBrosse, Julia Kiffel, Katie Trimmer, Christina Mangels, Christina Cesarini, Liz Stutzmann, Megan Bader, and Jess Stein. The team was coached by Anthony Sparacia with assistant Tony Leondis.
