From Left to Right, Alonzo Africa, Jason Roche, Stefan Gerek, Richard Masters, James Amato, Joseph Torres, Jon Toto, Brandon McDonough, Jake Altabef, Zachary Miner. Boy Scouts from Troop 56 worked together on a community service project in order to earn the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge. They worked together to collect, organize, and distribute food to the Mary Brennan Inn in Hempstead. The boys wish to extend their gratitude to the people in Garden City who generously contributed over fifty boxes of food to help accomplish their goal of making a difference in the lives of our neighbors who are struggling in these hard economic times.
