The Garden City Community Coalition (formerly known as Garden City Community Council on Substance Abuse & Violence Prevention) is pleased to present “Raising a Responsive and Responsible Child” a parent education seminar for Primary and Elementary School parents given by the NYU Child Study Center.

Guest speaker Dr. Richard Gallagher, a parent educator for 16 years, will focus on understanding challenges children face and how to use positive parent practices to meet these challenges.

• Making family life work at different ages

• Meeting school demands

• Managing social life
