Girl Scout Adventure
More reptiles!
Recently, our Girl Scout Troop 1110 took a trip to Safari Stan’s Pet Shop. It was great! We got to interact with many animals. We learned how to pick up animals like rabbits without scaring them. We also held a ferret. Then we saw Robo-hamsters. When you hear the word Robo-hamster you think of a robotic toy hamster like Zu-zu pets. These were actually mini hamsters that anyone could pick up and play with. They were about the size of a giant gum ball. We thought that they would make great pets. Next we saw the reptiles. We felt a snake and a Bearded dragon. The snake felt smooth and the Bearded dragon felt scratchy. After that, we saw the birds. This was one of my favorites because I have a love bird at home. The bird that I had was an orange, yellow, and green Conure. Soon I ended up with two birds that did not want to leave me! Next we saw the puppies. Sarah and I got into a stall with an adorable beagle. He was so hyper! He was jumping up on us and zoomed around the stall as if he were a raceway. I wish I could have taken him home. This trip was so much fun!!!
