Peter A. Egan Garfunkel Wild, P.C. is pleased to announce that partner Peter A. Egan has been named to Long Island Business News’ 40 Under 40 Class of 2010. Mr. Egan, a resident of Garden City, is among Long Island’s top 40 individuals in business who are not only hard working, talented and dedicated young professionals, but who also have made significant contributions to charitable endeavors. Mr. Egan was inducted into the 40 Under 40 Class of 2010 at an awards dinner at the Crest Hollow Country Club recently.

Mr. Egan, who joined Garfunkel Wild, P.C. in 2001, is a member of the Business, Health Care and Tax Practice Groups that advise clients on a variety of business, regulatory and transactional matters. His practice includes routine and complex business transactions, as well as regulatory and tax analysis on behalf of for-profit healthcare companies, medical centers, and other providers. He specializes in structuring joint ventures and implementing relationships between clients and their employed/affiliated physician groups.

Mr. Egan is a member of the New York State, Connecticut and Nassau County Bar Associations. He is a member of the executive committee of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Health Law Section and also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Hospital and Health Law Committee. He received his BA from Columbia University and his JD, cum laude, from Boston College Law School.
