Father Daughter Sports Night At St. Anne’s
Chuck Rodgers and Jamie enjoy the night
On the last Friday of January, the beloved tradition continues at St. Anne’s where dads join their daughters in an active night out. They say a dad will do anything for his daughter and this might include coming home from work and scooting on their hands playing crab soccer. Of course in some cases, the dads were having more fun than the kids! Over 115 fathers and 150 daughters participated in the festivities. The night included pizza and other catered entrees, lots of team sports activities and each family had a commemorative father daughter portrait. A dedicated committee put the whole thing together under the direction of chairs Annie O’Connell and Cathy Walsh. Mrs. Arnone, the school gym teacher, as always, headed up the sports activities. Everyone enjoyed the camaraderie and some spirited competition!
Chairs Cathy Walsh and Annie O’Connell are thrilled with another success.
