The students at Little Sprouts Preschool took part in several special events during the frigid month of January. Everyone was invited to wear a crazy or silly hat to school on January 21, and some children sported one-of-a-kind originals. On January 29, the students and staff had fun at a Teddy Bear Pajama Day, where even the toddler classes crawled through a makeshift cave, joined in a pretend “bear hunt” and shared in some yummy snacks at a bear picnic in the school’s gym. Little Sprouts Preschool is a ministry of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church on Hillside Drive South in New Hyde Park. Registration for 2, 3, and 4-year-old programs for the 2010-2011 school year is going on now. Please call 746-4889 for information or to schedule a tour.
