Handbag Design Event

Monday, February 8th at 8pm

We are so excited about our upcoming fundraisers! I hope that you will join us on Monday, February 8th at 8pm to design your own personalized handbag! We will have a representative from 1154 Lill showing off the company’s many bag styles and design choices. 1154 Lill offers a vast variety of bag styles from clutches and make-up bags to hobo and baby bags (over 40 bag styles). Once you pick your style, you are able to select from over a hundred fabrics and design your own bag. Bags can combine several different fabrics, piping and hardware to produce a truly original bag to call your own. Depending on the style of the bag, prices start at $28 depending on the style. Bags will be professionally sewn and delivered to your door within a couple weeks. This is a really fun and creative night out! The fabrics are beautiful and the choices numerous. Please send $5 to reserve your spot to Tracey Lawson at 77 Poplar Street. The $5 will be donated to our charity and place you in a raf¾e for a manicure/pedicure! Gold Party

Would you like to make money and help IFOND at the same time? Come to the Welcoming Club’s Gold Party on February 23rd, Tuesday from 10am - 1:30pm, at the home of Beverly Hegarty, 4 Brompton Road. What To Bring ??? Old, Broken, Single Earrings, Worn-Out, Out-Of-Date, Good, Bad, or Just Plain Ugly Jewelry. Turn your gold, silver, platinum, diamonds and even watches into cash. Jeweler Leon Bedeian of Bedeian Jewelers, LLC will sort through it, weigh it and make you an offer for TOP DOLLAR ( gold is at an astounding high right now ). You can either turn it down or walk away with cash in your hands. Either way, you’ll have some fun!! The Welcoming Club of Garden City is a well-established women’s organization, which not only focuses on welcoming new members to our community through a variety of social activities, but also promotes charitable and humanitarian projects. We offer many events for couples, children, families and ladies.
