Treasures Discovered At Garden City Public Library Program

Eddie Costello and his Trash or Treasure Antiques Roadshow returned to the Garden City Public Library on Sunday, January 31, back by popular demand. Mr. Costello discussed the value of the painting pictured, which took its owner by surprise.
All those in the audience who registered for Trash or Treasure received a free appraisal of any one antique or collectible from Eddie Costello (standing). Mr. Costello is pictured listening to the story behind the oil on canvas painting held by the Garden City resident who brought the painting from Italy many years ago.
Eddie Costello uses a magnifier as his wife looks on to examine a Radiola. A local resident and his son were the very proud owners of this Radiola, one of the earliest radios made.
