The Italian Club and the Best Buddies Organization at Garden City High School will be holding “Carnevale for All Generations,” a new event open to Garden City community mmbers. Carnevale is a festival celebrated yearly in Italy, and the Italian Club and Best Buddies would like to take an opportunity to share this aspect of the Italian culture with members of the community. There will be a gathering in the cafeteria at the high school, 170 Rockway Avenue, on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 3:15 - 5:00 p.m. At that time, the guests will learn about Carnevale, the Italian culture, and even learn some traditional Italian dances under the leadership of Stephanie and Lucio Costanzo. Refreshments will be served along with lots of fun! Please join us!
